Am 22. November 1986 fand Peter’s Pop Show in der Dortmunder Westfalenhalle statt. Die ZDF-Produktion brachte zahlreiche internationale Pop-Acts der 1980er Jahre zusammen, darunter Depeche Mode, Tina Turner, Billy Idol, Europe, Falco, Pet Shop Boys und viele weitere Künstler:innen.

Für meine Konzertgeschichte war diese Show auch durch den Bezug zu Robbie Zieger besonders prägend. Robbie war bei den Pop-Shows im technischen Umfeld aktiv und hat meine frühe Faszination für große Musikproduktionen, Bühnenlicht und Live-Inszenierung mitgeprägt.
